  1. Loader for Windows

  5. Loader is a very flexible program to load and change your Wallpaper and Sounds.  We 
  6. designed this program to be powerful but easy to use (We hope this is true).  The Loader 
  7. for Windows program consists of two modules:  Loader and Loader Runner.  This 
  8. program is shareware.  For more info, read the help file.  
  9.  
  10. Modules
  11. 1.  Loader allows you to configure the various options associated with Wallpaper and 
  12. Sound such as assigning BMP and WAV files, selecting the sound player, Load 
  13. Now option, sorting, etc.  Feature compatibility depends on Windows version but the 
  14. program can run with 3.0 & 3.1.
  15. 2.  Loader Runner does the actual loading and changing of Wallpaper and Sound 
  16. when it is ran.  It is suggested that you put it in the Startup Group of the Program 
  17. Manager.  It executes, does its job, and disappears without taking precious 
  18. resources.

  22. Loader is a shareware program.  Notice that there are no nag screens nor disabled options.  
  23. If you find it useful, please do register as this encourage us to develop more useful 
  24. programs.  Registration is only US $9.00.  Site licenses are negotiable.  Please include 
  25. your name, address, and tel/fax number.  If this is too expensive, do contact us.  The 
  26. benefits of registration is clearer conscience and you will be informed of future updates.

  41. We have not included compression support for the BMP files as we think most people 
  42. may have compression programs and uncompression slow down the loading a bit.  But 
  43. if there is demand for it...

  46. Try out our new Print Flip (printf) program that quickly switches between printers and 
  47. toggle Print Manager status.

  62. Methods
  63. 1.  You need the file VBRUN200.DLL (Visual Basic run-time file) in your Windows 
  64. directory (\WINDOWS or \WINDOWS\SYSTEM) since this is a Visual Basic 
  65. program.  You can get it from where you obtain Loader.
  66. 2.  The first four files should be installed in their own directory (such as 
  67. C:\WINUTIL\LOADER).
  68. 3.  Attach LOADER.EXE icon to a Group in Program Manager (easiest way is to 
  69. drag and drop from File Manager).
  70. 4.  Attach LDRUNNER.EXE icon to the Startup Group in Program Manager.
  71. 5.  Start Loader and configure the options to your hearts content.  When you quit
  72. from Loader for the first time with changes, LOADER.INI will be created in your 
  73. Windows directory.  The alternative way is to copy the included LOADER.INI file to the
  74. Windows directory.
