Armageddon in Atlantis
Self Running Demo
This demo requires an IBM compatible PC with VGA and 2 megs of
RAM. The demo will run for approximately 5 minutes. In order to hear
the SoundBlaster sound make sure that the BLASTER environment is set
in your AUTOEXEC.BAT file and execute the file DEMO.BAT. If you do not
have a SoundBlaster card or are experiencing difficulties running the demo,
run the file DEMONOS.BAT instead.
This demo requires approximately 580K of conventional and 600K
of XMS memory to run. Slightly less is required if the demo is run without
sound. This demo does not require a mouse since no interaction takes place.
Therefore an easy way to get an extra 10-15K is to simply not load the
mouse driver.
If the text is titling by too slowly you will have to run the demo
slightlly differently. If you wish to run the sound load the SBFMDRV
that came with this program. Then to slow down the titling run the
executable with the follwing flags.
/I Increase the speed of the text titling.
/S Turn off the sound FX.
e.g. G /I will run the demo with sound and speed up the titling.
This demo shows you just a few of the many features of our new
fantasy wargame. Armageddon in Atlantis is the first wargame to truly
take advantage of the advanced graphic and sound capabilities in today's
computers. Release for the diskette version is slated 4th Qtr 93. Release
of the CD-ROM version is projected late 1st Qtr 94. If you have any
additional questions about Armageddon in Atlantis please feel free to
