Imperium Rex Practice Game (PRACTICE) Notes and Objectives
----------------------------------------------------------
The game file PRACTICE must not be altered - copy it before playing it.
Otherwise, any future integrity checks will fail. You have been warned.
OBJECTIVES
To conquer the two NP cities, as well as all other NP objects. In other
words, win. The secondary objective is to minimize the number of turns
required to conquer the NP. Conquering a city is accomplished by taking it
over; you may also devastate it if you wish, but it is not necessary.
I have completed this objective at turn number 47, which you can use as a
benchmark.
SCENARIO
There are 5 cities in total. You have control over 3 of them on the south-
east continent, as well as a settlement. You have also been given a number
of objects to use in addition to the ones you will (?) produce.
When you start, at turn number 9, no objects will have movement points
until the next turn, as this is the turn they were placed in the editor.
However, make sure you survey the world before proceeding to the next turn,
so that you may determine the tech-levels of the two enemy cities while at
age 0.
The number of objects the NP can produce, per city, is 59! This is because
of the low number of cities that may be occupied at any one time, combined
with the limit of 300 objects per player. Therefore, the longer you
prolong the mission, the more objects will be built by the NP, and the more
difficult it will be to complete the mission.
A railroad has been built that connects all your cities and the settlement.
A schedule (RTS) has also been made, but is not active yet. It occupies
slot number 1. The resource load has been distributed in the schedule so
that the total distribution of resources may be approximately uniform.
This is just an example, and of course does not have to be used as is, or
at all.
You have more objects than are required for the mission in general, so do
not expect that there must be a reason for the choice of objects given to
you. They are there for experimentation and hands-on experience.
Good luck!
