CATALOG DESCRIPTION

Looking for a change from those strategy & action games? How about a game
of "pure logic" that challenges you in a battle of wits against the PC
and also improves your logical reasoning. You and your PC compete to
break each other's secret-code using the clues of Bulls & Cows. The
rules are unbelievably simple but, believe me, the play can be complex.
Witness how the PC plays superb Mastermind, as if you are playing against
a human. Artificial intelligence? Find out for yourself. Runs on IBM
compatibles with VGA graphics. Shareware.

HOW TO START THE PROGRAM:

Type 'Sherlock' at DOS prompt.

(If you are starting for the first time, it is suggested that you
first go thorugh the Tutorial to get an understanding of the Game and
various menu options.)


PLEASE REGISTER YOUR COPY AND GET 3-DIGIT & 5-DIGIT GAMES

"PC-Sherlock" is a shareware program and you are expected to pay a
registration fee (US $12) to the author to continue using this program
beyond a trial period of 30 days. When you register, you'll get a
registration-key file by electronic mail that will register your copy by
your name and will also work for any future versions of this program.
This shareware reminder screen won't appear in the registered program.
You'll also get useful tips on how to play this Game better. In addition,
you get bonus options to play 3-digit and 5-digit games! Note that a
3-digit game is easier to play than the 4-digit game given in this
shareware version.

To justify the low cost of this program, registration is mainly provided
to the users by sending a special key file by electronic mail. In other
words, registration is conveniently available to the users who have access
to any form of electronic mail to communicate with the author. Compuserve
users can register online on Compuserve. Go SWREG and register ID #5476.

Depending on the response of the users, other methods to register will
