Known bugs: The game has some bugs: Sometimes if you drop a word on a right meaning it is not accepted. Normally this error shouldn't be if you use a chunk-size of 10. In some forms the fonts are not changed for the selected language.
If you close the form for sound-options you are asked wether you want to save the .phn - files
even if you didn't change them.
Removed bugs:
- The Editor is working again (I don't know why, but I always add new bugs in the editor if I make changes)
- Unknown words are counted again (Only for Versions in which you could select soundfiles for each word)
- the Dictionary should be working again know.
- it was not possible to save entered commentaries in the editor
- The dictionary in the Editor had some misfunctions
- There was an overflow Error when starting Options-Sound
- The sorting of the dictionary had some bugs
- the commentary was not saved in the editor
- there was an overflow Error when starting the Options-Sound Menu
- the learn.ini file contained some wrong pathnames
Changes:
The sound which is played does depend on how many times you knew the word or not.
It is now possible to select letters of the current charset by doulbleclicking on the textbox in the editor.
Sorting new made dictionaries is much faster now.
All vbx's are fully licensed now.
It is now possible to record a soundfile for all words. You can
record the file in the editor by choosing the appropriate menu-bar or while asking is done by pressing the appropriate button or by left-clicking the multiple-choice icons.
Voice Files for the words are now only in the LEARN\voice - directory. The name of the configuration file is LEARNSND.INI.
The Ini-File for the language is now separated from the learn.ini-file. The name is
LEARNLNG.INI
- It is now possible to start external games with learn. I have written a little
game. The sourcecode is free (gamedev.zip)
- if you use an extenstion like quest.vqu you can use longer test (up to 5000 characters). This is good for asking textual questions.
