  5. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
  6.  
  7.   WinChess requires a 486 computer with Windows 3.1/Win95 installed
  8.   and a graphics adapter capable of displaying 16 colors or higher.
  9.   (256 colors is recommended)

  11. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
  12.  
  13.   WinChess must be installed onto a hard disk or floppy
  14.   disk with at least 1300KB free space.
  15.  
  16.   1. Create a temporary directory to uncompress WinChess into.
  17.  
  18.   2. Un-Compress WCHSS25D.xxx into that directory.
  19.      Where xxx is the compression's extention.
  20.      (ZIP and ARJ are common compression programs used)

  22.   3. Go into that directory and run SETUP.EXE from Windows.

  36.   of Normal (1:115/949) with the magic name of WINCHESS.

  41.   Support is given to unregistered users during the 30 day trial period,
  42.   and to registered users for 12 months.  This includes direct access to
  43.   the author and/or distributor by email, or postal mail. You will also
  44.   get notification of any fixes and new releases.

  49.   This product is licensed, not sold.  It may be freely copied and distributed
  50.   subject to the conditions in the VENDOR.TXT file.  Unregistered users have
  51.   a limited license to try out the program for up to 30 days without charge.

  53.   one machine.  Special licenses may also be available for multiple machines
