  1. This is the shareware version of Imperial Conquest, a war/strategy
  2. game for Windows 3.1  (and Windows95).
  3. As we prefer software not to alter our system files IC does not attempt
  4. to install itself onto your computer.  To install it simply copy all the 
  5. files to the desired drive and directory (folder).  Refer to your Windows 
  6. manual or help-files for instructions on installing it in a group 
  7. (Windows 3), or onto the desktop\Start bar\etc (Windows95).  
  8. The files needed are;
  9. IMPCONQ.EXE  (the main program file)
  10. IMPCONQ.DAT  (the main data file)
  11. IMPCONQ.HLP  (the help file)
  12. All these files must be in the same directory.
