  12.   BackARC began as a program called BackLHA written in E.  Unfortunatly,
  13. Stefen Boberg was weary of the usage of his trademark.  After a bit of hard
  14. work, the author of BackARC (Stephen Bradley) realized that E was currently
  15. too limiting for this utility.  Switching to Matthew Dillon's DICE C, Stephen
  16. completed the first version, but disaster struck (in the form of a bad
  17. RocTec drive) and that version was lost.  Starting over, with a new GUI and
  18. a new attitude, the end result is what you see now!

  20.   Special thanks to Harley McGrew for support and assistance throughout the
  21. project, modifying the docs, helping me realize this programs potential
  22. to do more than unarchive and preliminary beta testing.
