  1. Volume 8 began in the summer of 1987. Jon Solomon put out some issues and 
  2. Jim Dixon put out others. The last issue was 12/24/87 then there were no
  3. Digests issued for almost two months until 2/18/88 when JSol resumed doing
  4. it.  The file 1988.vol8.misc.msgs contains messages which appeared in the
  5. comp.dcom.telecom newsgroup during that time but not in the Digest.  PAT
