  8. This sneak preview requires about 40 Megabytes of hard disk space.
  9. After you install this sneak preview, leave the CD in your CD-ROM drive. 
  10. Background music can play from the CD while the preview is running.

  12. If you installed this on drive C:, to run it first type
  13.     CD C:\MPS\MAGIC
  14. and press return. If you installed onto some other drive, replace 
  15. C: above with the name of that drive (such as D:, etc.).

  17. To begin, type
  18.     MAGIC
  19. and press return.
  20.  
  21. To quit the demonstration, click on the "Magic" oval in the upper left 
  22. corner of most screens, select "Quit" from the dialog, and then after the 
  23. title screen replays once more, select "Leave the Gathering of Magic."

  27. This brief 'sneak preview' of Magic: The Gathering gives you a taste of 
  28. the game's "look and feel." This preview is interactive, but many options 
  29. are unfinished, and the card game duels are non-interactive demos.
  30.  
  31. The final game will have a different and much larger world, as well as duels 
  32. against computer or human opponents. Magic: The Gathering includes virtually 
  33. all the cards from the original Magic: The Gathering set, as well as the 
  34. Arabian Nights, Antiquities, Legends, and Dark expansion sets.

  36. Because Magic: The Gathering is a work in progress, this preview has various 
  37. limitations. Don't be surprised by occasional unexpected behaviors. This is 
  38. NOT the final game, just a small glimpse at the work in progress.

  40. This preview installs all program files to your hard disk. The final CD-ROM 
  41. product reduces hard disk useage by maintaining some files only on the CD.
