  14. Simulates stellar motion under the influence of gravity. 
  15. Create a field of stars, then watch how they pull and 
  16. accelerate each other. Vary number of stars (2-1000), 
  17. initial velocities, gravity constant. Watch how attractive 
  18. forces send stars careening in new directions. Watch large 
  19. patterns evolve over time (millions of years per minute).

  42. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  44. Unzip the distribution file GALAXY.ZIP, using an output directory 
  45. of your choice (e.g. c:\games\galaxy).  The above files are created.  
  46. GALAXY.ZIP may then be deleted to save space.

  48. If you wish to use GALAXY from other than this directory, use a 
  49. directory that is included in your PATH environment parameter. 
  50. From Windows File Manager, double-click the file GALAXY.EXE to 
  51. start the program. Full instructions are now available from the 
  52. online HELP menu.

  56. KNOWN DEFFICIENCIES
  57.  
  58. If the number of stars is large, and especially if your CPU is a 
  59. slow one, the response to menu commands is sluggish.  This problem
  60. persists in spite of the liberal use of Yield() calls.  I don't
  61. know why.  Just wait a few seconds for the menu to respond.
