  15.  Version 4.0 Upgrade Information

  18.  If you are a registered user of GrabIt Pro version 3.1, version 4.0
  19.  is a free upgrade.  You will HAVE to CALL US at 602-375-9928 to get a
  20.  new registration number.  Make sure that you have your current registration
  21.  number ready when you call.  You CAN'T get your new registration number
  22.  without it!  The upgrade price for registered users of the old GrabIt
  23.  versions 2.X is $15.00.

  30.   Hot Key Menu Capture
  31.  --------------------
  32.  Now you can capture pull down and popup menus quickly and easily!  Refer to
  33.  the GrabIt Pro users manual(MANUAL.WRI) for complete information on how to
  34.  capture menus. NOTE: The users guide is in Windows Write Format
  35.  
  36.  New Startup Mode
  37.  -----------------
  38.  At your request the program now starts as a normal size window instead of
  39.  being minimized.  You can now specify through the properties selection from
  40.  the program manager menu how you would like GrabIt Pro to start.

  42. ** Remember The System Menu **

  44.  Remember that when GrabIt Pro is minimized ALL of the capture commands
  45.  are available from the system menu.  Just click once on the GrabIt Pro icon
  46.  at the bottom of your desktop to display the system menu.  This allows you
  47.  to capture images without having the GrabIt Pro window in your way.  When
  48.  you are done with a capture session restore GrabIt Pro to its normal size
  49.  window by double cilcking on it.  All of your captures will be ready to view
  50.  with each capture in its own child window.

  52.  New Detailed Documentation and Help

  54.  The documentation is now typeset in windows write format and gives a
  55.  complete discription of each command available from the GrabIt Pro Menus.
  56.  The help file has been expanded and makes it extremely easy to find and
  57.  command you may have a question about

  59.  Invert Image Option
  60.  -------------------
  61.  When saving a screen capture you can now select to save the image in an
  62.  inverted bitmap or RLE.  This is PERFECT for those of you who are doing
  63.  DOS screen captures and want to include the screen captures in your
  64.  documentation.  By saving the capture as an inverse image you will have
  65.  a screen shot that is black text on a white background.  You can also
  66.  create some spectacular special effects by experimenting with the inverse
  67.  option.

  69.  Smaller Program Size

  71.  In these days of disk hungry apps, we are bucking the trend by giving you
  72.  an improved application that takes up 117K LESS disk space than the
  73.  previous version!  We will continue to reduce the space requirements
  74.  of all our programs whenever possible.

  76.  The GrabIt Pro Program Files
  77.  --------------------------------- 
  78.  The GrabIt Pro program files are in compressed format. You must run the
  79.  GPSETUP program to expand them before the program can be used.  The
  80.  setup program will create a Program Manager group and add the program
  81.  files and other important files to the group.   
  82.  
  83.  PLEASE NOTE:
  84.  ------------
  85.  You must run GPSETUP.EXE from the Windows Program Manager.  Other shells
  86.  like the Norton Desktop or PC Tools for Windows are not 100% compatible
  87.  with our setup program and may cause it to fail when attempting to create 
  88.  the GrabIt Pro Group.

  90.  Step 1
  91.  Running The GPSETUP Program
  92.  ----------------------------
  93.  After extracting the GRABPRO.ZIP file to either a directory on your hard
  94.  drive or to a floppy drive. Start Windows and make sure that the Windows
  95.  Program Manager is running.
  96.  
  97.  1. From the Program Manager File Menu choose Run...
  98.  2. Enter the location of the GPSETUP Program. If the files were on your
  99.     A: drive then you would enter: A:\GPSETUP and press Enter or Click on
  100.     the OK button.
  101.  3. The GrabIt Pro setup dialog will be displayed.
  102.  4. The edit field will display a suggested directory.
  103.  5. Press OK to accept the default directory or enter new destination
  104.     directory and press Enter or Click on the OK button.
  105.  6. The setup program will create the directory for you and display
  106.     the file installation progress.
  107.  7. When it has finished expanding and copying the files it will create
  108.     a new Program Manager Group and add the program files to the group.
  109.  
  110.  Currently the manual is up to date and there have been no revisions
  111.  or bugs reported.

  113.  Be sure to read the MANUAL.WRI file, this is the program manual. It is in
  114.  Windows Write format.
