  1. What is a shareware program? 
  2.  
  3. A shareware program is NOT free!  If you find the program useful, that is if 
  4. you use it after the evaluation period (20 days) then you are expected to 
  5. make a contribution to the author.  These conributions motivate the author 
  6. who in turn will be more likely to produce better versions, and even write 
  7. more programs.

  10. 2-UP! is a program which fits two 66 line pages on one A4 page.  It is
  11. designed to emulate a line printer, but instead of printing on a line printer
  12. it prints on a postscript printer.  The program cuts down on the amount of
  13. paper used, and prints in better quality than a line printer.

  18.     *  page numbering
  19.  
  20.     *  half shadows every second line, like normal line printer paper
  21.  
  22.     *  when half-shadowing, the lines are numbered
  23.  
  24.     *  draws a box around the print-out
  25.  
  26.     *  Can print in either landscape mode or portrait mode (default)
  27.  
  28.     *  Time and date stamping
  29.  
  30.     *  outputs the postscript program to a file on disk, or straight
  31.        to a printer (postcript compatible)

  34. This evaluation version can only handle 1000 lines of text, but the registered
  35. version has no limit to the number of lines to be printed.

  37. 2-UP! is written in 'C' and compiled using the Microsoft C V6 compiler,
  38. but the majority of the work is done by the postscript program.
