  3. As we wrote in PC Computing's April 1995 FreeStuff column, 
  4. Linux is only for the truly brave. Linux is a Unix clone 
  5. for 386- and 486-based PCs written by Linus Torvalds with 
  6. the assistance of many programmers on the Internet. In 
  7. fact, we found that a complete Linux package comes to 
  8. 11MB zipped--far too large for downloading. However, 
  9. if you can access FTP servers on the Internet, you can
