  2.             Velocity Distribution Without Mutual Collisions

  5.        The particles start from the center  of the container in
  6.  different  directions  with the same  speed.    However,  they
  7.  are allowed to collide  only  against  the walls,   the mutual
  8.  collisions  are switched off.  The walls are adiabatic in this
  9.  experiment which means that the  collisions are elastic.   The
  10.  container is quickly filled   up by   the   particles.     The
  11.  on-line  diagram  shows  the time averaged velocity distribution
  12.  function.  This time the velocity  distribution is kept in its
  13.  initial, non equilibrium form.
