  1. W i n N E T   M a i l (TM)
  2.  
  3. Terms and Conditions.
  4.  
  5. 1.  The WinNET Mail (TM) software is distributed freely for
  6.     the purpose of connecting with the WinNET service.
  7.     There is no charge for the software as long as it is
  8.     used for this purpose. When WinNET Mail (TM) is used 
  9.     with an alternate UUCP service provider it is shareware
  10.     with a registration cost of $99.00.
  11.  
  12. 2.  The WinNET service is billed on a connect time basis at
  13.     the rate of
  14.     
  15.                 $8.00 per hour
  16.                 
  17.     There is a monthly minimum charge of $9.95 while you 
  18.     have an account with us.  This means that if you use less 
  19.     than $9.95 worth of connect time (billed at $8.00 per 
  20.     hour), you will be billed the minimum of $9.95.
  21.      
  22.     There is a per account minimum charge of $9.95.  
  23.     Accounts created and then ended shortly thereafter will 
  24.     be billed at minimum $9.95.
  25.  
  26.     The minimum monthly charge is prorated to the actual
  27.     number of days of service in the first month of service
  28.     and in the last month of service. 
  29.     
  30.     There is no charge for new account set up other than
  31.     a minimum life-time charge of $9.95 per account. 
  32.     Accounts that are created and then disconnected before
  33.     billing $9.95 in connect time or monthly minimum
  34.     charges will be billed a total of $9.95.
  35.  
  36.     Connect time is recorded in increments of one minute. 
  37.     Fractions of minutes are billed as full minutes.  All
  38.     amounts are denominated in U.S. dollars.

  40. 3.  1-800 number service.  Computer Witchcraft offers a
  41.     1-800 number service to use to connect with our service.
  42.     The following surcharges apply when using the 1-800
  43.     number service:
  44.     
  45.         M-F, 8am-5pm(ET)      18 cents/minute
  46.         All other Times       12 cents/minute
  47.         
  48.     When using the 1-800 number service, Computer Witchcraft
  49.     will calculate your usage and place the appropriate
  50.     charges on your monthly statement. 
  51.  
  52.     Connect time is recorded in increments of one minute. 
  53.     Fractions of minutes are billed as full minutes.  All
  54.     amounts are denominated in U.S. dollars.
  55.  
  56.     Please note that communication's surcharges do not 
  57.     apply towards the monthly minimum charge of $9.95.
  58.       
  59.     (Canadian 1-800 number service rates are M-F, 8am-5pm(ET):
  60.     40 cents/minute; All other times: 30 cents/minute)

  62. 3.  Payment.  As part of your account registration we
  63.     request a credit card number for payment.  You will be
  64.     charged $9.95 when you first establish your account as
  65.     your account's life-time minimum charge.  This $9.95 is
  66.     fully credited toward connect time charges and your
  67.     monthly minimums if you continue your account.
  68.     
  69.     You will be sent a statement of account usage via
  70.     WinNET mail after the end of the month.  Your credit 
  71.     card will be charged for the amount on the statement.
  72.     
  73.     Other payment arrangements are possible, please contact
  74.     us. 
  75.  
  76. 4.  Ending Service.  If you choose to terminate your account
  77.     on WinNET, all you need to do is contact us by WinNET
  78.     Mail, letter, or telephone.  We will end your service on
  79.     the date that you request and prorate your minimum
  80.     charge for that month accordingly.

  82. 5.  Computer Witchcraft exercises no control whatever over
  83.     the content of the information passing through the
  84.     WinNET system.  Computer Witchcraft is not responsible
  85.     for the accuracy, quality, or content of the information
  86.     obtained through its service.  Computer Witchcraft makes
  87.     no warranty, whether expressed or implied, for the
  88.     service it offers.  Computer Witchcraft disclaims any
  89.     warranty of merchantability of fitness for a particular
  90.     purpose.

  92. 6.  Computer Witchcraft makes no warranty whether expressed
  93.     or implied for the WinNET Mail software.  No warranty of
  94.     merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is
  95.     provided for the WinNET Mail software. 
  96.  
  97. 7.  WinNET may only be used for lawful purposes.
  98.     Transmission of any material in violation of United
  99.     States law, laws of the nation in which WinNET is used,
  100.     or state law or regulation is prohibited.  This 
  101.     includes, but is not limited to: copyrighted material,
  102.     material legally judged to be threatening or obscene, or
  103.     material protected by trade secret.  You agree to
  104.     indemnify and hold harmless Computer Witchcraft from any
  105.     claims resulting form your use of the WinNET service or
  106.     WinNET Mail software which damages you or another party.
  107.  
  108. 8.  The WinNET Mail (TM) software may be distributed by you
  109.     to others as long as you agree to all conditions listed
  110.     in the READ_1ST.TXT and VENDOR.TXT files.
