    Purpose: Tadream is a forum for discussions about Tangerine Dream
    and related artists. The discussions are not moderated, but
    discussions should have some small relation to Tangerine Dream

    Purpose: For owners and admirers of Talon, Eclipse or Laser
    automobiles.

tandem

    Purpose: A mailing list for tandem bicycle enthusiasts.  Suitable
    topics include questions and answers related to tandem componentry,
    riding technique, brands and equipment selection, prices, clubs,
    rides and other activities, cooperating on a section on tandems
    for the rec.bicycles.* FAQ, etc.

tandy4k

    Purpose: A mailing list for owners, users, and other interested
    parties of the Intel 80386-based Tandy 4000 Microcomputer. The list
    will contain problems encountered, hints, program source code, and
    anything else related to the operation of Tandy's newest entry into
    the world of microcomputers.

tbi-sprt
    Contact: [e-mail]

    Purpose: The St.Johns University traumatic Brain Injury Support List,
    tbi-sprt, on [e-mail] was created for the exchange
    of information by survivors, supporters, and professionals concerned
    with traumatic brain injury and other neurological impairments which
    currently lack a forum.  We know from our own experience that one of
    the difficulties people dealing with tbi face is that their time is
    often dominated by the survivor's recovery process. Accessing support
    groups or networking of any kind can seem like one more thing to add
    to an already packed schedule. A forum such as this is available at
    all hours of the day or night and does not need to become one more event
    that must be scheduled.

    The postings to the list are archived and made available monthly
    through the listserv.  A file containing introductions submitted by
    subscribers is also available along with files relevant to topics of
    the list.  Additions to these resources are welcomed.

Testing-Research

    Purpose: Testing-Research is a forum for testing researchers to
    discuss current and future research.  Since testing is one
    of the most down-to-earth kinds of software engineering research,
    testing practitioners are welcomed.  Messages about practice
    should be the kind that can guide or improve research; messages
    that can improve practice should go in comp.software-eng.  This
    list is unmoderated.

    Purpose: This forum is intended for the general discussion of
    theater, in whatever form it may take.  This list is primarily a
    gateway for the traffic in the newsgroup rec.arts.theatre.

    Purpose: An unmoderated mailing list for discussion of the band

    concerns works of J. R. R. Tolkien, especially their Czech (and Slovak)
    translations.

TolkLang

    Purpose: Discussions of the linguistic aspects of J.R.R. Tolkien's
    works. This covers everything from Elvish vocabulary and grammar
    to his use of Old English. The list is (lightly) moderated.

    Purpose: Discussion of the musical group Tower of Power and
    associated side projects.

TopSoft

    Purpose: TopSoft is a world wide network Macintosh Programming User
    Group developing high quality free software.  FilterTop is a batch
    processing program with a iconic/graphical programming interface. It
    lets you pass the files selected through an assembly line process of
    objects called "Filters".  Each filter performs a separate operation
    on the file or data.

    Purpose: Torg is the mailing list dedicated to the infiniverse
    of West End Game's "Torg, the Possibility Wars" Roleplaying Game.

Toyota Corolla

    Purpose: Discussion of Toyota Corollas, including model years from
    1970 on, all engines, and the Chevy Nova and Geo Prizm twins.

Transgen
    Contact: [e-mail]

    Purpose: Transgen is a list specifically for and about people who are
    transsexual, transgendered and/or transvestites.  The list is open to
    the public.

    TRANSGEN may be received in two formats.  To set TRANSGEN to post by
    post format the proper command is SET TRANSGEN MAIL.  To set it to
    digest format the command is SET TRANSGEN DIGEST.  The proper address
    to which to send these commands is one of the following:

transputer

    Purpose: The Transputer mailing list was created to enhance the
    communication among those who are interested in the Transputer and
    Transputer based systems.

    Submissions should be of non-proprietary nature and be concerned

        o  Current development efforts (hardware and software)
        o  INMOS and third party systems (Meiko, FPS, etc.)
        o  Interfaces
        o  Dedicated computational resources

    Archives of submissions are available by anonymous ftp from the
    host tcgould.tn.cornell.edu (userid "anonymous", password is of the
    form "user@host") and through uucp on a per-request basis.

    The list is maintained as a mail reflector.  Submissions are
    therefore sent out as they are received.

    Purpose: This mailing list exists to discuss the TRAVELLER Science
    Fiction Role Playing Game, published by Game Designers' Workshop.
    All variants of Traveller (Traveller 2300, MegaTraveller), and
    Traveller games (Snapshot, Trillion Credit Squadron, etc.) are
    included, too.  Discussion is unmoderated and open to all facets
    and levels of Traveller discussion.  Listeners as well as
    contributors are welcome.

TREK-REVIEW-L

    Purpose: TREK-REVIEW-L exists as a noise-free forum for reviews
    of Star Trek material. This category includes but is not limited

    Original Series, Animated Series, Movie Era, Next Generation
    and Deep Space Nine materials are all valid.

    Purpose: For TurboVision programmers (a library that comes with
    Borland C++ and Pascal compilers).  Both languages are discussed.

Twilight Zone

    Purpose: Twilight Zone is a fiction-only on-line magazine. It's
    published quarterly and is available only in ASCII. Fiction
    featured in it is primarily fantasy, scifi and (hopefully)
    humorous. Subscriptions may be acquired by sending mail. Writers
    welcome, as long as they don't like carnivorous plants.

    Purpose: Even though the term 'twins' is used, it is meant to represent
    twins, triplets, etc.  The purpose of this mailing list is to provide
    an open forum for the discussion of issues related twins.  This might
    include research on twin related issues, parenting issues as well as
    issues concerning adult twins.

Two-Strokes

    Purpose: For the discussion of two-stroke motorcycle technology,
    maintenance, and riding.  It is primarily oriented towards street
    and road-racing two-strokes, but discussion about two-stroke dirt
    bikes is fine.

tx-firearms

    Purpose: The tx-firearms mailing list has been created to keep
    interested parties aware of Texas firearms laws, hunting seasons
    and regulations, pending legislation, group meetings, competition
    schedules, basically anything related to firearms in the State of

UK-DANCE

    Purpose: UK-DANCE is a mailing list for discussion about all
    aspects of dance music culture in the UK: clubs, raves, clubs,
    record shops, radio, records and anything else to do with the

    Purpose: Discussion forum for users or potential users of the
    original NEC UltraLite PC1701 and PC1702 computers (the V30-based
    notebook computer with a 1MB or 2MB silicon hard disk, not the newer
    80X86--based models).  Topics include general information, tips,
    techniques, applications, experiences, and sources for hardware,
    software, accessories, and information.

    (and the rarely released "Stuff" by Wyman).

    "dissident" spin-off of Granola, another vegetarian mailing list.)
    Our list is called "VEGGIE" to be inclusive of vegans, fruitarians,
    lacto-, ovo-, ovo-lacto-vegetarians, vegetable-lovers, those simply
    interested in vegetarianism or veggie recipes, etc!  You do not have

Vizantija

VMEbus

    Purpose: A user's group for the AT&T VMEbus products to provide a
    two-way USENET conduit for the open exchange of information, both
    within and outside of AT&T.  There's very little data that's
    proprietary about the products (other than the source code for UNIX
    System V/VME), so the list is open to suggestions as to items of
    interest.

    Suggestions for items of interest are also encouraged.

Volvo

    Purpose:  Volvo-net is a meeting place for Volvo automotive
    enthusiasts around the world.  It is an open forum for dis-
    cussion of Volvo related topics, such as, but not limited

Vreme

    Purpose: VREME carries "Vreme News Digest" (selected articles from
    "Vreme" translated to English).
    Since Fall of 1989, "Vreme" is the major independent newspaper in
    Yugoslavia and "neighbouring countries". It is published weekly,
    every Monday, and usually the electronic mail edition of VND is
    available on the same day.
    Please keep in mind that due to situation in the country the
    distribution of VND may not always be smooth. Further, VND is
    published by a professional news agency which made this material
    available to us by a special agreement. The proper credit to VND
    should be given whenever is this material cited or used in any way.

Vreme News Digest

    Purpose: Vreme News Digest (VND) is an English-language newsletter
    published by the Vreme News Digest Agency (VNDA) from Belgrade.

    Purpose: WAIS stands for Wide Area Information Servers, an
    electronic publishing project lead by Thinking Machines.

    The WAIS-discussion is a digested, moderated list on Electronic
    publishing issues in general and Wide Area Information Servers in
    particular.  There are postings every week or two.

wais-talk

    Purpose: WAIS stands for Wide Area Information Servers, an
    electronic publishing project lead by Thinking Machines.

    The WAIS-talk is an open list (interactive, not moderated) for
    implementors and developers.  This is a techie list that is not
    meant as a support list.  Please use the alt.wais newsgroup for
    support, and send bug fixes etc to [e-mail].

walkers-in-darkness
    Contact: [e-mail]  (David Harmon)

    Purpose: Walkers-in-Darkness is intended for sufferers from
    depression and/or bipolar disorder, and affected friends.  This
    includes both "novices" and those who have learned to cope.

warhammer
    Contact: [e-mail]

    Purpose: For the discussion of Games Workshop's Warhammer
    Universe, the Old World, Warhammer Fantasy Role Play, and
    Warhammer Fantasy Battle.

    The Warhammer mailing list is running ListMan 1.0b List Manager
    software.  To subscribe, send email to the above request address
    and as the first word on the subject line or any line in the text
    of the message put the word "sub". You may also include a
    parameter with the sub command.  This parameter will be treated as
    your *real* name, not your address (which is determined from your
    mail headers).  You may also send wfrp-request other commands, not
    the least of which is "help".

    Purpose: Discussion topics are open to anything of interest
    to water-skiers, from absolute beginners to competitors.  This
    includes any activity that involves being pulled behind a boat,
    such as barefooting, kneeboarding, wakeboarding, and even tubing.
    Discussion of boats, equipment, techniques, safety, courtesy, rules
