  1. This disc is prepared in ISO-9660 format with Rock Ridge Extensions.
  2. On UNIX(tm) systems that support these extensions the full mixed case
  3. directory and filenames will be available.  On other systems, a
  4. translation table is available in each directory that shows the
  5. original long mixed case name and the ISO-9660 conforming name.  There
  6. are utilities in the directory "ym_utils" (cd_link & cd_copy) that can
  7. be compiled on UNIX(tm) systems to allow files to be either copied
  8. from the CD or symbolically linked with their original long names.

  10. DOS users are left to contend with the ISO-9660 conforming names.

  12. Some DOS utilities for manipulating UNIX(tm) files are provided in the
  13. DOSTOOLS directory.  Each tools is unzipped in its own directory:

  15. UNSHAR        Unpack UNIX(tm) shar files (Shell Archives).
  16. UUDOALL        Uuencode/uudecode
  17. EXTAR10        "Tape Archive" manipulator for .tar files.
  18. CRLF15B        Convert between UNIX(tm) newline terminated files and
  19.         DOS format CRLF terminated lines.
