- Well, your moderator has been known to have his bad days, but this was starting
- to look like his bad *year*. It's rather uncommon for me to disappear, and I
- figure I owe you folks an explanation.
-
- My car was severely damaged in an accident on 1/2---the other driver (who was
- cited, BTW) turns out not to have been insured, and I was getting no help what-
- soever from my own insurance company. Less important stuff like c.s.m (and my
- job!) ended up taking a back seat. However, things seem to finally be
- resolving themselves, and hopefully I won't be disappearing again in the near
- future.
-

- (P.S. And whose idea was it to replace uunet with a Pyramid, so that all my
- programs had to be recompiled? On the other hand, it forced me to bring
- the archive-name database up to date from volume 3 on, so it wasn't a total
- waste. 1/2 ;-)
