  3. Notes is an X11R5 note pad based on the Athena Widget set.
  4. It was developed on a Sun3 running SunOS3.5 and X11R5 using
  5. twm as the window manager.  As yet it has not been tested on
  6. anything else.  I would appreciate reports from anyone
  7. running it elsewhere.

  9. There's really nothing fancy about this program, it merely keeps
  10. a collection of notes in popups and saves them to a file
  11. called .notes in your home directory.  This .notes file not only
  12. saves the contents of each note, but also the geometry of each
  13. note.

  15. Theorectically there should be no limit to the number of notes
  16. that you could have, but in practice - the list widget will run
  17. off the bottom of your screen at some point...  probably needs
  18. to be fixed...  One of these days...  A problem with slow startup
  19. in v1.0.0 has been cleaned up in this version.
