  9.      xmtool - start the front end tool for the ucb mail command
  10.  
  11. SYNOPSIS
  12.      xmtool [-f filename] [-fn font_name] [-display display_name]
  13.  
  14. DESCRIPTION
  15.      Xmtool is an X Window System utility that serves as a  front
  16.      end  for the ucb mail command.  Xmtool allows X users handle
  17.      either single message or multiple messages.  Users can  per-
  18.      form  common  mail  commands  such  as  print  (view), save,
  19.      delete, edit, mail (mail to list),  reply  (reply  to  all),
  20.      Reply  (reply to sender). There are also other features such
  21.      as picking  a  set  of  messages  whose  headers  contain  a
  22.      specific  string  (update).  The  maximum number of messages
  23.      that xmtool handles is 999.

  25. OPTIONS
  26.      -f filename
  27.              Read messages from filename instead  of  the  system
  28.              mailbox.  If  present,  it must be the first option.
  29.              The path of  the  filename  may  be  relative.   The
  30.              length  of  the path of the filename can not be over
  31.              20 characters. You can use the  symbolic  link  (the
  32.              UNIX  command  "ln  -s")  to  handle  path of longer
  33.              length.

  35.      -fn font_name
  36.              Identify the font name. Any font of about  the  same
  37.              size as that of the font 9x15 is suitable.

  39.      -display display_name
  40.              Specify the server to connect to; see X(1).

  43.      DISPLAY To get default host and display number.
  44.  
  45.      XMTOOLRESRC
  46.              To get the path of the directory that contains  bit-
  47.              map  and  hlp as subdirectories.  Must be set before
  48.              executing xmtool.
