- NAME
- xmtool - start the front end tool for the ucb mail command

- SYNOPSIS
- xmtool [-f filename] [-fn font_name] [-display display_name]
-
- DESCRIPTION
- Xmtool is an X Window System utility that serves as a front
- end for the ucb mail command. Xmtool allows X users handle
- either single message or multiple messages. Users can per-
- form common mail commands such as print (view), save,
- delete, edit, mail (mail to list), reply (reply to all),
- Reply (reply to sender). There are also other features such
- as picking a set of messages whose headers contain a
- specific string (update). The maximum number of messages
- that xmtool handles is 999.

- OPTIONS
- -f filename
- Read messages from filename instead of the system
- mailbox. If present, it must be the first option.
- The path of the filename may be relative. The
- length of the path of the filename can not be over
- 20 characters. You can use the symbolic link (the
- UNIX command "ln -s") to handle path of longer
- length.

- -fn font_name
- Identify the font name. Any font of about the same
- size as that of the font 9x15 is suitable.

- -display display_name
- Specify the server to connect to; see X(1).

- ENVIRONMENT
- DISPLAY To get default host and display number.

- XMTOOLRESRC
- To get the path of the directory that contains bit-
- map and hlp as subdirectories. Must be set before
- executing xmtool.
