Heretic II Sound Effect Task List
This document is for the use of Heretic II programmers to list all sound effect slots which
are coded and awaiting entry of a sound effect wav file. Entries will be deleted from this
document when the audio dept. has created a working sound effect for that file.
The following information should be included:

TRIAL BEAST
Standard sounds:

Swipes his tail

Beast swallows down a victim, like a bird

HIGH PRIESTESS
Special sounds:

She shoots three small blue magic balls

Her spin attack with her staff
"monsters/highpriestess/bugs.wav"
Fires off a bug in her floating lighning bug minefield

bug buzzing floating there
"monsters/highpriestess/bughit.wav"
Bug hit or hit something and explodes wetly
"monsters/highpriestess/zap.wav"
Huge beams of light shoot our of her staff, screen shakes,and lightning jumps out of her staff at you

A few small magic homing projectiles come at you

Rushes toward or away from player

Cloak ruffles when dodging, moving, etc.

charge up plasma ball
"monsters/elflord/plasfire.wav"
fire plasma bolts from the ball
"monsters/elflord/plashit.wav"
plasma bolt hits something- makes rubble and smoke
"monsters/elflord/crackle.wav"
plasma energy crackles and fades away
"monsters/elflord/makeshld.wav"
crosses arms to make a small shield
"monsters/elflord/shlddie.wav"
shield is hit once and destroyed

MORCALAVIN
Special sounds:

Mork strikes ground with staff, makes a quake-wave across the floor

A big blue beam with electicity around it shoots out of his staff
"monsters/mork/homing.wav"
"monsters/mork/homehit.wav"
Fires a few magic tracking balls of light that drain your health and hold you down

Lifts hand- a ball of light (power puff) grows in his palm, ready to throw
"monsters/mork/ppfire.wav"
Throws the power puff- it is very bright and grows in flight
"monsters/mork/ppexplode.wav"
power Puff his and explodes with tremendous force
"monsters/mork/lightning.wav"
"monsters/mork/lghtnghit.wav"
Mork shoots lightning from his eyes at you
"monsters/mork/forcewall.wav"
Mork gestures and a forcewave comes out from him, pushing eveything away
"monsters/mork/makeshield.wav"
"monsters/mork/shieldhit.wav"
"monsters/mork/shieldpulse.wav"
"monsters/mork/shieldgone.wav"
"monsters/mork/shieldbreak.wav"
Mork gestures and a magic shield appears around him, it pulses and spins.
It pulses again when hit, then fades away if it runs out.
If you hit it enough, it shatters.
"monsters/mork/rush.wav"
He lifts off the ground and flies toward you in a straight gush of air-
sounds of cloak fluttering wildly
"monsters/mork/revive.wav"
Mork falls down, hurt. Beams come from his temple and hit his staff,
reviving him, he gets up, eyes glowing and crackling with lightning,
ready to shoot it from his eyes
"monsters/mork/strafeon.wav"
The 4 skulls on his staff glow and beams shoot out of them
"monsters/mork/strfswng.wav"
Swings the staff around with the 4 beams coming out of it
"monsters/mork/strafeoff.wav"
The beams thin out and dissipate
