It is important to understand that communication with a lawyer or law
firm by e-mail, including use of information resources provided by a law
firm via a WWW server or other Internet resource, DOES NOT without an
explicit mutual agreement create an attorney-client relationship.  A
lawyer-client relationship can be created by e-mail only by a direct and
explicit agreement, confirmed by the lawyer or law firm and the client.
No implicit agreement can be asserted.  Accordingly, great care should
