- Summary: This posting is a list of Clothing Optional beaches, hot springs,
- and parks frequently mentioned in rec.nude. This list is far from
- being a definitive list of Clothing Optional locales, and postings
- to rec.nude asking about other such locales or presenting "trip
- reports" to such locales are highly encouraged.

- This is one of four volumes of the "REC.NUDE FAQ: Naturist Site Reports".
- These are posted on the first of each month.
-
- The purpose of this FAQ is to list some brief information on a variety
- of clothing optional locales that are frequently mentioned on rec.nude.
- This FAQ cannot be a replacement for a more thorough source such as the
- World Guide (see the REC.NUDE Frequently Asked Questions, Part II of II).
- As you can see from this FAQ, there are CO locales all over the place.
- If you don't see one near you here or want more information about these,
- feel free to ask the rec.nude assemblage (the maintainer of this FAQ is
- not an especially good source for such information, but he'll gladly
- post such a request to the net anonymously if you desire -- just make
- it clear in your request that you do want it posted anonymously).
-
- The maintainer of this FAQ takes no responsibility for the accuracy of
- the information contained herein. Updates to these entries are greatly
- appreciated; this FAQ is only as good as you make it.
-
- Many FAQs, including this one, are archived on the site rtfm.mit.edu in
- the directory pub/usenet/news.answers. The name under which a FAQ is
- archived appears in the Archive-name line at the top of the article.
- This FAQ and its companions are archived in the nude-faq/beaches
- subdirectory. These may be retrieved by anonymous FTP or by sending
- e-mail to mail-server@rtfm.mit.edu with a line such as the following
- in the body:
- send usenet/news.answers/nude-faq/beaches/whatever
-
- Additions, deletions, and changes from last month are marked with +, -,
- and | in the first column.

- The following represents (if some imagination is used) the coastline
- of Britain (i.e. England, Wales and Scotland). Due to limitations of
- the medium, most of the islands of Scotland have been omitted. I've
- included the location of London because I suspect that most people have
- heard of it.
-
- The map is to a scale of very approximately 6 miles/col horizontally and
- 13 miles/row vertically :-) .
-
- CO beaches where nudity is practised (on the rare occasions that it's
- warm enough) are indicated by *. The numbers refer to the table above.
- Though there does not seem to be a problem with nudity at these sites,
- the legality is uncertain.

- In Hungary there are some naturist beaches and camps for example at
- the lake Balaton, at Budapest and Debrecen and so on. One of the best
- is the naturist camp in Szeged, Sziksosfurdo will open up this year as
- well to offer you a place to relax and to have a good time. Visitors
- will find a pleasant, grass covered surface of 5 ha shaded by newly

- need arise, you can communicate back home through a crossbar telephone.
- There is a small buffet, a bistro in the camping as well as showers with
- hot and cold water and water-flushed toilettes.
-
- To cook a meal, there is an open fireplace for this purpose and for a
- proper cooking there is a kitchen with a gas-stove and you can do your
- washing up in a wash-basin with hot and cold water. Peaceful amusement
- is offered by the non-stop buffet or if you wish you can watch TV (with
- satellite programs) or can play billiards. If you are a sport fan, beside
- swimming you can play volley-ball table-tennis not to mention running and
- jogging. For smaller children there is a separated shallow bathing place
- along the lakeside and there is a sand-pit and swing. In the pavilion
- you can buy souvenirs, newspapers, bathing articles and playthings.
-
- The V. International Naturist Sportmeeting will be organized from 17-25.
- July 1993. They reckon with the participation of a lot of naturists sport
- fans from all over the world like it happened in the previous years. If
- you plan to participate, please let them at least two weeks in advance
- to be able to reserve accommodation for you. I can send the detailed
- program of the meeting if you are interesting in it.
