  2.          Additional Administrative Notes for Pexpire

  6.   It is strongly recommended that you read the man page for the
  7.   netnews expire() command, studying the '-e' and '-E' options,
  8.   then read the pexpire() man page distributed with the pexpire
  9.   package.

  11.   From there, you need to edit the Makefile to ensure that it
  12.   is pointing at the right source directory for netnews, then
  13.   edit the file "pexpire.h". 
  14.  
  15.   You should notice that pexpire.h expects that the netnews
  16.   "defs.h" file is available -- it grabs the default expiration
  17.   times from that file (see the extensively commented "pexpire.h"
  18.   file for details).

  20.   Finally, this is a first distribution, so there might very well
  21.   be problems and non-portabilities.  If you come across anything,
  22.   please drop me a note.
