  10.         - Added a C interface to the banner routine itself so it
  11.           can be linked with an application.  The user interface now
  12.           sets flags and calls the C interface.
  13.         - Letters can be any height, not just single or double.
  14.         - Multi-height italic are smoother: it shifts one column per
  15.           printed row rather than one double-column per double-row.
  16.         - Cleaned up and sped up some of the low level loops some what.
