  9.      This 1995CARD game requires following:
  10.    * EGA/VGA
  11.    * IBM PC compatibles
  12.    * 540kb Base Memory
  13.    * Microsoft Compatible Mouse

  15.    Optional: Sound Blaster compatible/Gravis Ultrasound for digital sounds
  16.    Note: If you have a fast PC, such as 486+, you can use digital speaker,
  17.      which uses same sounds as sound cards, but play them to speaker.

  21. | 2. How to Install and Run 1994POOL |

  24.    1. Run Install.exe (if you got it from the floppy disk)
  25.       Or copy all the files to Hard Disk.
  26.    2. Change directory to where game is installed.  (e.g. cd c:\1995CARD)
  27.    3. Run Setup.exe to setup the game (Such as Sound card, Memory, etc)
  28.    4. Run 1995CARD.EXE or GODORI.EXE (for Godori shareware game).
  29.    5. Select How much money you want to start with.
  30.    6. Then select the CUT point(press left mouse button) and begin!
  31.    7. Press HELP button for the game rules, and more instructions!
  32.    8. Enjoy the game!

  39.    Q. The game doesn't run!  It gives Not Enough Base Memory error!
  40.  
  41.    A. This 1995CARD game requires at least 540KB Base Memory in which you
  42.       will get more memory by removing TSRs, such as those programs that
  43.       are loaded during computer boot-up.  To increase base memory, try
  44.       boot with clean-disk (to make clean-boot disk, use FORMAT A: /S).
  45.       Also you may want to try to remove some TSRs that are loaded from
  46.       AUTOEXEC.BAT file in hard drive.

  49.    Q. When I run the game under windows, the program terminates.  Why?
  50.  
  51.    A. I recommend you to exit windows, and run the game in standard DOS.
  52.       If you still want to run the game under window, please change sound
  53.       mode(sound card, digital speaker mode) to normal speaker mode in
  54.       Setup.exe.  Then, the game will run fine.

  57.    Q. When I switch to 'Speaker Digital' mode, the speaker just makes a lot
  58.       of noise-like sound when playing the game!
  59.  
  60.    A. 'Speaker Digital' option in Setup.exe was intended to be used only
  61.       with high-speed computers, such as 386-33, 486, 586+(Pentium), etc.
  62.       Even 386 with 16Mhz speed is not fast enough to support digitized sound
  63.       for internal speaker.  If you don't have sound card, then choose
  64.       'Speaker Normal' option which does not use digitized sound.

  67.    Q. Setup.exe doesn't detect my sound card!

  69.    A. This game support 100% Sound Blaster compatibles Music card, and
  70.       Gravis Ultrasound card.  Make sure your Sound Card supports Sound
  71.       Blaster, and load appropriate driver if necessary.  However,
  72.       SB-emulation may not work since this game does not use native mode,
  73.       but uses DMA operation for sound and music.

  76.    Q. For the SB compatible sound card, the music stops right after some
  77.       sound...

  79.    A. Probably you have wrong IRQ number.  If you haven't install with
  80.       your disk that came with sound card, I recommend to install it.
  81.       However, you may change by running Setup.exe, and change IRQ.
  82.       The default is set to 7(most common), but try to change to 5 which
  83.       is pretty common as well.

  86.    Q. When I play music, everything slows down, even mouse!

  88.    A. The generated music is a high-quality digital music which requires
  89.       high burden of the CPUs, which 386/486+ or better is a minimum.
  90.       Please turn Music Enable option off in Setup.exe if you experience
  91.       problems with music.
  92.       Also, try NOT to change 'TURBO' button during or before the game
  93.       start.  If you have changed your computer's turbo button, try to
  94.       reboot and run the game again.

  97.    Q. Program hangs when I play with 'Speaker Digital' option in Setup.exe!

  99.    A. Again, for slow computers such as 386-16,20, etc, computer may not
  100.       catch up with heavily digitized sound to the speaker.  Turn off this
  101.       option, and choose 'Speaker Normal' option in Setup.exe.

  115.    Q. What is shareware?  What does 'register this game' mean?
  116.  
  117.    A. This game is distributed freely as "shareware", which means
  118.       "try before you buy" program.  There is almost no-functional difference
  119.       between shareware and registered(or commercial) version.  However,
  120.       you will get 2 registered version of 1995Card and Godori with
  121.       CPU-IQ of 100 - 190, and receive all future shareware games by mail.
  122.       You will automatically be on our mailling-list to receive first
  123.       future shareware games.  We encourage that you copy this game to
  124.       your friend, upload to BBS, etc. as long as no files are removed
  125.       nor modified.  Please see Order.Me for how to order the registered
  126.       version of 1995CARD and GODORI.
