  100. CATraxx is a powerful 32-bit Windows application designed to 
  101. help you catalog and manage your music collection. Using CATraxx 
  102. you can quickly catalog CDs by downloading disc data from the 
  103. Internet CDDB database. CATraxx is easy-to-use for the amateur, 
  104. with sophisticated features for the professional.

  106. CATraxx has a comprehensive set of fields for both albums and 
  107. tracks, enabling you to catalog information like artist, album 
  108. title, format (CDs, vinyl records, cassettes, videos etc.), 
  109. release year, label, catalog number, purchase price, current 
  110. value, music category, status (own, want, for sale etc.), 
  111. condition, playing time, song titles, songwriters, producers, 
  112. recording studios, musicians and instruments. You can store 
  113. an image of the album cover and add your own personal comments 
  114. for both albums and tracks.

  116. You can work with an unlimited number of databases. This
  117. means you can split your collection into different catalogs 
  118. and organize it to meet your needs. CATraxx allows you to 
  119. change the name of all data fields. For example, you might want
  120. to rename Artist to Performer, Songwriter to Composer or Format 
  121. to Media. You can hide the fields you don't want to use. These 
  122. fields will disappear from all windows, menus, lists etc. This
  123. way you can customize the database to suit your needs.

  125. You can effectively search the database for information that 
  126. you require. Search in all fields with any combination of 
  127. fields and operators. In addition, CATraxx lets you cross 
  128. reference up to five fields. This is an extremely flexible 
  129. way to search and query data.

  131. The report designer lets you create almost any type of report. 
  132. Use one of the pre-defined reports, or create your own from 
  133. scratch. You have full control over data fields, groups, sort
  134. order, columns, fonts, colors, paper size, margins and print 
  135. orientation. CATraxx lets you preview reports on screen before 
  136. printing. Using CATraxx you can easily create professionally 
  137. looking reports with exactly the layout you want.

  139. With the HTML Generator you can quickly generate documents to
  140. be published on the World Wide Web. The loan module lets you 
  141. keep track of albums on loan. Check the program periodically 
  142. to see what is still out on loan. You will always know who has 
  143. what and since when.

  145. The statistics function allows you to analyze your collection 
  146. in a variety of ways. CATraxx lets you track both initial 
  147. investment and the value of your collection. Use the backup 
  148. function to make backup copies of your valuable data. With 
  149. the built-in CD controller you can control the playback of 
  150. audio CDs in your CD-ROM player.

  153. navigation. CATraxx comes with a sample database to get you
