the tray suite integrates two applications into one. Both have an optional tray icon each: ClickSave manages the launcher icons that you can add to your tray. It also allows you to launch your screen saver in one of several ways, so you can password-protect your machine.\n\nDeskLaunch lets you access the icons on your desktop without having to minimize all your windows.
you can add shortcuts to your system tray by dragging them there from explorer.
the tray manager lets you put special folders, such as the Control Panel, directly onto your tray. Right-click to show the folder's contents; double-click to go there.\n\nThe tray manager can be accessed from the ClickSave tab in Display Settings.
if you haven't registered already, you can do so online, by telephone or by mail. The full version costs just $14.95 (multi-user discounts are also available). Just read the accompanying documentation, or go to www.shareit.com by clicking the 'register' button now.
all of the configuration options can be accessed from the ClickSave tab in the Display Settings Control Panel applet.
you can access the context menu for an icon by right-clicking it. You can execute it by double-clicking.
the tray icons are taken from the "Tray Icons" folder in your Windows directory. You can edit this folder yourself by selecting "Edit..." in the ClickSave context menu. You can also create subfolders that appear as cascading menus.
you can start your screen saver by leaving the mouse pointer over the top left corner of your screen for a second or so. You can change this in Display Properties.
if you want to clear your desktop quickly, you can do so by double-clicking the DeskLaunch tray icon.
you don't have to use the desktop folder as the root for DeskLaunch. Take a look at the advanced settings for a list of all the folders you can use.
this program is less than 32K in size. The Control Panel extension is just 22K.
you can launch your screen saver on startup, or from the command line.
icons can be dropped onto most of ClickSave/DeskLaunch's windows.
you can drag items to your system tray from Internet Explorer.
you can change an item's icon by right-clicking on the tray icon and selecting properties. Then click the shortcut tab and press 'Change Icon...'
shortcuts can be removed from the tray via the right-click context menu, or by using the tray manager.
you can configure the tray icons to accept single clicks instead of double clicks in the advanced settings.
