  4. Should you include one of the Engines (the YGrep Search Engine
  5. or the BitList Engine) in one of your application, here are (in
  6. short) the conditions you should follow:

  8. - Get a fully registered version of the distributed Engine. See the
  9.   *.HLP or the ORDER.TXT file for the directions to follow. Remember
  10.   that you should get either the appropriate number of licenses or a
  11.   "developper kit" which along with additional documentation provides a
  12.   license for unlimited number of copies.

  14. - Add a copyright notice to your application stating:
  15.     YGrep Search Engine Copyright (c) 1992-93-94-95-96-97-98 Yves Roumazeilles
  16.     BitList Engine Copyright (c) 1994-95-96 Yves Roumazeilles
  17.   or:
  18.     Parts Copyright (c) 1992-93-94-95-96-97-98 Yves Roumazeilles

  20. - If your application is a Windows application, you can bundle the
  21.   following files with your application:
  22.     YGREPD16.DLL
  23.     YGREP32.DLL
  24.     YGREP.HLP
  25.     BITLIST.DLL
  26.     BITLIST.HLP
  27.     YGREP.TXT
  28.     BITLIST.TXT
  29.     CLUSTER.TXT
  30.   any other file is not to be included in the application without
  31.   my written consent. They  are intended for your development
  32.   phase only.

  34. - If your application is an MS-DOS application, you can bundle the
  35.   following files with your application:
  36.     YGREP.HLP
  37.     BITLIST.HLP
  38.     YGREP.TXT
  39.     BITLIST.TXT
  40.     CLUSTER.TXT
  41.   any other file is not to be included in the application without
  42.   my written consent. They  are intended for your development
  43.   phase only.

  45.   You can avoid including the *.HLP files which could be of little
  46.   use in an MS-DOS application and are rather programmer-oriented.
  47.   But, you are authorized to provide them.

  49. - None of the Engine files included in your package is modified in
  50.   any way. If you need customized Engines, please, contact me.

  52. - You are invited to show how the user can get a copy of the BitList
  53.   Engine. You could add such information in your application on-line
  54.   help file. But this is not compulsory (your typical user may never
  55.   be interested in it and may be dismayed by such a pointer).
