  22. The EXE file is a self-extracting ZIP file containing the following files:
  23.      TROOP.TXT     - This file
  24.      GAME.CON         - Modified script code
  25.      USER.CON         -         "
  26.  
  27. To use the patch, follow the following procedure:
  28.         1) copy TROOP.EXE into your Duke3D directory
  29.         2) MAKE BACKUPS OF YOUR EXISTING CON FILES !!
  30.            ie "ren GAME.CON GAME.BAK" etc
  31.         3) type "TROOP" AT THE DOS PROMPT, AND THE FILES WILL SELF-EXTRACT
  32.         4) type "DUKE3D" to launch!
  33.         5) after you're done, rename the backup CON files to restore them
