  2. CYBERIA

  4. CYBERIA requires a 386 or better with at least 4 MB of ram configured as
  5. expanded memory, and about 1.5 MB of free hard disk space. A Joystick is
  6. highly recommended!

  9. Installation:
  10. =============

  12. To install CYBERIA, place the Demo CD in your drive and type:
  13.  
  14.     D: <ENTER>
  15.  
  16.     INSTALL C: <ENTER>
  17.  
  18. The installation will create the directory -C:\CYBERIA- on your hard drive
  19. and copy over the necessary program files. After installation, you have
  20. several options:

  23. Calibrate Joystick:

  26. Type CALJOY to run the joystick calibration program.

  29. Playable Demo:

  32. Type CYBERIA to play the demo version of CYBERIA.

  39. Type DEMO to view the self running demo of CYBERIA.

  43. Memory Requirements:
  44. ====================

  46. CYBERIA requires a 386 or better with at least 4 MB of ram. The ram must be
  47. configured as expanded memory, using EMM386, (which comes with DOS) or a
  48. similar memory manager. If you get a error message stating "Not Enough Memory"
  49. you should check your config.sys file for an expanded memory manager.

  51. A typical line might look like this: DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE.

  53. If this line is not present in your config.sys, add the line, save the file
  54. and then reboot your computer. If the line IS present, but contains a
  55. parameter for RAM, such as RAM 2048, remove the RAM setting from the string,
  56. save the file and reboot your computer.

  60. Sound Problems:
  61. ===============

  63. This DEMO version of CYBERIA will only play sound on SOUND BLASTER compatible
  64. sound cards.
  65.  
  66. If the sound does not work, check the BLASTER environment setting
  67. in your autoexec.bat file. The line should look something like this:

  73.          IRQ#_/    DMA channel
  74.  
  75. The Demo version of CYBERIA supports all IRQ numbers up to 9 and all I/O base
  76. addresses; but only supports DMA channel 1.
