Transcription: Built in the 13th century, the Amiens Cathedral is the largest in terms of area of all the cathedrals in France. It features Gothic style architecture, characterized by stained glass, lofty interiors, extensive window areas and pointed arches. Such cathedrals were built as the center of social and cultural as well as spiritual development in the Middle Ages. The Amiens Cathedral is now listed as a World Heritage Site.
