Rejcek was blacksmith in Abbott but his large family loved to play polkas, waltzes and shoddishes at beer and social halls in nearby Czech immigrant communities. Willie guitar was barely heard over the drums, horns and TEXAS accordion, but they paid Willie more in one night than he could make in a whole week picking cotton. Soon Willie was on the road' whether Mama Nelson ABBOTT SCHOOLS approved not.
