  9. You should carefully read the following terms and conditions
  10. before using this software.  Unless you have a different license
  11. agreement signed by Outeredge, Inc. your use of this software 
  12. you indicates your acceptance of this license agreement
  13. and warranty.

  15. Registered Version

  17. One registered copy of Edge Launcher may either be used by a single
  18. person who uses the software personally on one or more computers,
  19. or installed on a single workstation used nonsimultaneously by
  20. multiple people, but not both.
  21.  
  22. You may access the registered version of Edge Launcher through a network,
  23. provided that you have obtained individual licenses for the
  24. software covering all workstations that will access the software
  25. through the network.  For instance, if 8 different workstations
  26. will access Edge Launcher on the network, each workstation must have its
  27. own Edge Launcher license, regardless of whether they use Edge Launcher 
  28. at different times or concurrently.

  32. THIS SOFTWARE AND THE ACCOMPANYING FILES ARE SOLD "AS IS" AND
  33. WITHOUT WARRANTIES AS TO PERFORMANCE OF MERCHANTABILITY OR ANY
  34. OTHER WARRANTIES WHETHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. Because of the 
  35. various hardware and software environments into which Edge Launcher 
  36. may be put, NO WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS

  39. Good data processing procedure dictates that any program be
  40. thoroughly tested with non-critical data before relying on it.
  41. The user must assume the entire risk of using the program.  ANY
  42. LIABILITY OF THE SELLER WILL BE LIMITED EXCLUSIVELY TO PRODUCT
  43. REPLACEMENT OR REFUND OF PURCHASE PRICE.

  47. Evaluation and Registration

  49. This is not free software.  Subject to the terms below, you are
  50. hereby licensed to use this software for evaluation purposes
  51. without charge for a period of 21 days. If you use this software
  52. after the 21 day evaluation period a registration fee of $20 is
  53. required. Payments must be handled thru our ONLINE secure ordering
  54. service. Credit card ordering and quantity discounts are available, 
  55. as described in the section Ordering Information/Order Form.  
  56. When payment is received you will be sent a serial number will be
  57. sent to you via e-mail.

  61. Provided that you verify that you are distributing the Shareware
  62. Version (select About from the Edge Launcher menu to check) you are
  63. hereby licensed to make as many copies of the Shareware version of
  64. this software and documentation as you wish; give exact copies of
  65. the original Shareware version to anyone; and distribute the
  66. Shareware version of the software and documentation in its
  67. unmodified form via electronic means.  There is no charge for any
  68. of the above.

  70. You are specifically prohibited from charging, or requesting
  71. donations, for any such copies, however made; and from
  72. distributing the software and/or documentation with other products
  73. (commercial or otherwise) without prior written permission, with
  74. one exception:  Disk Vendors approved by the Association of
  75. Shareware Professionals are permitted to redistribute Edge Launcher,
  76. subject to the conditions in this license, without specific
  77. written permission.
