  5.        This is not freeware and if you like it and use it you should
  6. send a mere $15 to me at the address that follows. By doing this you 
  7. will receive the version without the "nag" screens and the next update.

  18. The biggest change in this version is the addition of a Windows exit 
  19. button next to the restart button and major File Machine improvements
  20. and additions such as user-configurable buttons and several file
  21. utilities. To find out more, read below and click on the resources panel
  22. with your right mouse button.

  31. To run RESDUET+ you will need the VBRUN300.DLL Visual Basic runtime 
  32. file (found on most BBS's) in your Windows or Windows/system directory
  33. (as long as this is in your path statement). Then add a new program
  34. item to one of your groups (File*New*OK, etc.) using the icon with
  35. RESDUET+. I don't know if this will run in Windows 3.0 but it should.

  37. The files included with RESDUET+ are:
  38.  
  39.  1. resduet.exe - to be placed in any directory (you may want this in
  40.  your start-up group also).
  41.  
  42.  2. resduet.txt - this file
  43.  
  44.  3. threed.vbx, dfinfo1.vbx, cmdialog.vbx, commdlg.dll, apiguide.dll - to be 
  45.  placed in your Windows or Windows\system directory if you don't already 
  46.  have them. (Please make sure this is the most recent version).

  48.  4. resduet1.ini - will be created in your Windows directory  (assuming Windows 
  49.  is on your "C" drive) if you change the restart/resource panel position and 
  50.  save the change or when you add your programs to the middle buttons. Once you 
  51.  have added your programs to the middle buttons, the icons/pictures will be
  52.  saved to pict#.bmp files in your Windows/System directory (# being a number
  53.  from 1 to 20) to coincide with the button selected. If you move these picture
  54.  files, you must make the necessary path changes in the resduet1.ini file for
  55.  the pictures only.

  58. RESTART/RESOURCE PANEL:
  59. I won't get into very many instructions here because they are included
  60. in the program but the important ones are;
  61.  
  62. *  To re-position the restart/resource panel, click on the "resources"
  63. (right) panel with the right mouse button and select Configure/ResDuet Position.                           
  64.  
  65. *  To read the restart/resource panel instructions, click on the  
  66. "resources" panel with the right mouse button and select Instructions.
  67.  
  68. *  To open The File Machine, click on the "time" panel (left) with the left 
  69. mouse button. To open only the middle buttons from The File Machine, click
  70. on the time panel with your right mouse button.

  72. *  To check your available memory space and available disk space, click
  73. on the "resource" panel with your left mouse button.

  76. THE FILE MACHINE:
  77. Most of this is self-explanatory and also includes instructions. The 
  78. "buttons" in the center of The File Machine open whatever files/programs
  79. you add using the "Buttons" button on the bottom left.

  81. For instructions on the various buttons or areas, click your right mouse
  82. button over those areas or the left mouse button on the "?" button.
