  15. THOR  2.22  is an advanced multi-format offline reader, supporting the
  16. QWK,  Fido,  UUCP,  SOUP,  Bluewave, Omen, ABBS, MBBS and Hippo (BBBS)
  17. message  formats.  It will also handle TCP-connections with NNTP, SMTP
  18. and POP3.

  23. THOR:
  24. - 5 on the numberic keypad is now a shortcut for "m b" (unmark subject).
  25. - If the ARexx SHOWPICTURE function failed to load a picture, the listview
  26.   would end up in a state that would cause enforcer hits if clicked upon.
  27. - Changed a few of the "Sort by" strings in the Dock window, making them
  28.   shorter.
  29. - Will handle small fontsizes better when putting the icon for a 
  30.   MIME/uuencoded file in the listview.
  31. - The requester containing conference when replying to a crossposted message
  32.   would misbehave and add an empty conference field in the reply window when
  33.   no conferences was multiselected, but ok was still used. This is fixed
  34.   and the behaviour has changed somewhat so that selecting with the white
  35.   bar will crosspost to that conference only, and not to the current one.
  36. - Fixed the last remaining problem (I hope) with the delayed marking option
  37.   that concerned marking the current message as unread. THOR will now set a 
  38.   flag when this is done, and when proceeding to the next messages, this
  39.   flag is checked and if set, the unmarking of the messages will be skipped.
  40. - Maybe fixed the problem with entering and leaving a system many times which
  41.   could cause a crash.
  42. - MIME sound files will be handled correctly with Multiview from within
  43.   THOR.

  45. ConfigTHOR:
  46. - Added an option in "Global Config->Message options" for marking the message
  47.   as read after you go to the next message. In THOR, this means that the
  48.   message you have been reading will only be marked as read when you go
  49.   to the next or previous message.

  51. ConnectTHOR:
  52. - NNTP_USERNAME and NNTP_PASSWORD arguments added to for use on newsservers
  53.   that require authentication. Currently only used in the newsbrowser.

  56. - Packed events that where added to the database did not get
  57.   the right charset.
  58. - Crash (urgent) mail implemented at last.
  59. - UUCP-address recognition has been changed, but I had forgot
  60.   to update the historyfile, so I don't know _when_ it was changed. :)
  61.   An UUCP-address is now an address with a '@' in it.
  62. - Forgot to change the tearline to reflect the new 2.2 release.
  63. - Hold mail implemented.  Untill this is implemented in bbsread
  64.   library, I use 'Encode 8 bit' as an alias for Hold, so if you
  65.   want Hold, select 'Encode 8 bit' in the Extras window.
  66. - New type: FIDO_EXPORT  This type will export all events and
  67.   mark them as done.  Next time events are packet, these are
  68.   added to the (possibly) existing files in the outbound dir.
  69.   This behaviour is like Spot, and several people have
  70.   requested something like this.
  71. - Fixed some small bugs that came with the FIDO_EXPORT type.
  72. - A test was in the wrong place, so hold only worked on
  73.   non-NetMail.

  109. - Localizes time on incoming messages if locale library can be found.

  113. - Instead of turning off copyback, I turned it on several times.
  114. - Enforcerhits/crash if the number of news messages was lower than the
  115.   number of sockets is fixed.
  116. - Will use the initial NNTP socket as one of the sockets to retrieve

  118. - Will not quit the program if one or more of the news sockets fail to
  119.   initiate.
