  1. Using Wildcards
  2. These  are  used  extensively throughout DiskManager
  3. III.   If  you  are familiar with AmigaDOS, MSDOS or
  4. UNIX   wildcards  then  press  ESCAPE,  now  because
  5. DiskManagerIII is the same as those systems.
  6.  
  7. For the rest of you:
  8.  
  9. fred.#? or fred.*
  10. would find all files starting with "fred."
  11.  
  12. pic?.gif
  13. would find all files, pic1.gif, pic2.gif etc.
  14.  
  15. Summary:
  16. #? or * matches 0 or more characters.
  17. ? matches one character.

  21. Note:   You  can  also enter filenames.  If you just
  22. want to find one file.
