GrabKick - A tool to copy the contents of any Kickstart ROM into a file
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Version 1.1 - 23-dec-92
Certainly this is not the first tool to read Kickstart data, but
I searched for such a program and don't have found it - so I had to write.
GrabKick is suitable to use various Kickstart versions on a machine with
MMU using SetCPU by Dave Haynie from AmigaLibDisk400 (KICKROM command),
for instance to check software for work on older systems.
GrabKick can be started from WorkBench or from Shell.
Running GrabKick from Shell without argument or from Workbench will
generate a file named Kickfile in the current directory.
At Shell you can optional specify an output path/filename. Syntax:
GrabKick [<filename>]
GrabKick computes the size of any Kickstart version and should work with
all future releases. For more information look into the source code.
