  15.     Hi TerMail user! I hope you will like TmNice, which was written
  16.     in the first place to (re-)format the 'quoted' text automatically.
  17.  
  18.     When faced with long 'quoted' lines TerMail splits the line
  19.     into one long line and a second line which may only contain one
  20.     or two words. I call this text effect "Sharks' teeth"; well
  21.     TmNice can do a better job.
  22.  
  23.     My program also includes as a bonus a Tag Line Master. Some
  24.     people like TmNice more for the Tag Line feature... ;-)
  25.     Well... it is up to you. Use it or don't use it, it's FREEWARE,
  26.     but let's be friends for ever!
  27.  
  28.     Here are 5 simple steps to install TmNice that should be
  29.     followed whether you used a previous version or this is the
  30.     first installation of TmNice.
  31.     
  32.     I have presumed you have installed Terminate in C:\TERMINAT
  33.     in which case the TerMail program should be in C:\TERMINAT\TERMAIL
  34.

  38. 1.  As usual: if you use the program then it is at your own risk.
  39.     By starting TMNICE.EXE or TMN-CONF.EXE you agree with this
  40.     condition. For more information read the text at the end of
  41.     this file.

  45. 2.  Create a new directory in the TerMail directory, called TMNICE.
  46.     If you have a previous version of TmNice then first rename the
  47.     existing TMNICE directory to a different name e.g. TMNICE.OLD
  48.     or make a backup copy of the directory contents.
  49.  
  50.     Go to the directory C:\TERMINATE\TERMAIL\TMNICE and put all TmNice
  51.     files in that directory. If you are upgrading, then be careful
  52.     not to overwrite your existing .TAG, .REM, .SIG, .DAT and other
  53.     files. Therefore these files have been placed in separate
  54.     ZIP files.
  55.

  58. 3.  Now start TMN-CONF.EXE. Do _not_ skip the help text! It gives you
  59.     valuable information!

  63. 4.  After completing all questions, TMN-CONF.EXE has created the file
  64.     TMNICE.INI and the file TM.CFG will be modified for use with
  65.     TmNice. DO NOT WORRY! TMN-CONF.EXE always creates back-up files
  66.     of TM.CFG and TMNICE.INI. You can run TMN-CONF.EXE as often as
  67.     you like, you can restore your initial set-up any time. This you can
  68.     achieve by copying a numbered backup file to the original one e.g.
  69.     COPY INI-BAK.005 TMNICE.INI   The same goes for the TM.CFG file.

  73. 5   O.K. you are now ready to begin creating new messages. Before asking
  74.     me questions, look in the 'Help', please. Do NOT delete the
  75.     file TMNICE.HLP from the TMNICE directory, otherwise no online
  76.     help will be available with the [F1] function key in TmNice.

  78.     You can also start TmNice's Help from the DOS prompt by typing
  79.  
  80.       TMNICE /HELP
  81.  
  82.     Then press the [Enter] key.

  84.     Oh! Before I forget... if you have installed TmNice properly and
  85.     it runs to your satisfaction, then look in the Help, please.
  86.     Select 'Contents' and 'Variable Hello'. This is a new feature
  87.     you might like using too.

  92.     replying with TerMail easier. Many good idea's from users have
  93.     been implemented, so actually it is not 'my program' but it
