  79. This package contains the 1996 FOOTBALL GUIDE by DALTONWARE.  It
  80. contains schedules, standings, predictions, office pool and more for the
  81. 1996 NFL season.

  83. The FOOTBALL GUIDE is a shareware program.  It is an evaluation version
  84. which includes all the features of the registered version for the
  85. regular season.  You mau use it for up to 30 days without charge.  If
  86. you like the program and wish to continue its use after this evaluation
  87. period, you are required to pay $15.00 (not much, is it?) for the
  88. program (see REGISTERING in the HELP section of the program for
  89. details).  For this payment, you will receive the latest registered
  90. version which includes the 1996 Playoffs Section.

  125. If you have the 1996 FOOTBALL GUIDE on a floppy disk, you may use it
  126. from there or install it on your C: Hard Drive.  To use it straight off
  127. your floppy:

  129.    o  Make a back-up copy.
  130.  
  131.    o  Make the disk drive active by typing its letter and a colon, then
  132.       pressing  ENTER.  For example,  A: <ENTER> or B: <ENTER>.

  136. INSTALLATION ON YOUR C: HARD DRIVE
  137. The installation procedure for FOOTBALL GUIDE is quite simple.  The
  138. package includes a program, "INSTALL.BAT", which automates the
  139. entire process.  You will need about 500K of available disk space
  140. on the hard drive on which you plan to install the FOOTBALL GUIDE.

  142. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  143. To install from diskette(s), you should do the following steps:
  144.  
  145.    o  Place the FOOTBALL GUIDE disk in the appropriate diskette drive.
  146.  
  147.    o  Make the disk drive active by typing its letter and a colon, then
  148.       pressing  ENTER.  For example,  A: <ENTER> or B: <ENTER>.

  150.    o  Type  INSTALL <ENTER>.

  153.       1. Make a directory on your C: drive called 96FBG.
  154.       2. Copy all the FOOTBALL GUIDE  files to the 96FBG directory.

  156.       start the program. It will not modify your autoexec.bat or
  157.       config.sys files.

  159. NOTE: If your Hard Drive letter is not C:, then you should manually
  160. perform the above procedure using your Hard Drive letter.

  162. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DRIVE
  163. If you downloaded <product> from a BBS (or received it in the form of
  164. archive files from some other source), you should perform the following
  165. steps:

  167.    o  If the files are compressed, extract the contents of the file(s) in
  168.       a temporary directory on your hard drive.  The procedure for
  169.       doing this varies, depending on the form in which you received the
  170.       package, but normally one would use a decompression program such
  171.       as PKUNZIP.

  173.    o  Make the directory in which the FOOTBALL GUIDE files are located
  174.       active by typing the hard drive letter followed by the path, such
  175.       as:  C:\TEMP  <ENTER>.
