  13. If you are installing PowerBatch from a diskette, PowerBatch is installed by
  14. running the installation program, PBINSTAL. If you have received PowerBatch from
  15. within a compressed file such as PKZIP, THERE IS NO NEED TO RUN PBINSTAL. After
  16. starting PBINSTAL, you will be asked to enter the drive which contains the
  17. PowerBatch files, the drive and directory where you wish to place the
  18. executable PowerBatch files, and the drive and directory where you wish to
  19. place the example files and documentation. If the directories you specify do
  20. not exist, PBINSTAL will create them for you.

  26. REMEMBER...If you wish to compile PowerBatch programs from any directory in
  27. your system, you must place the compiler in a directory identified in your DOS
  28. search path. If you plan to compile from only one directory, this is not
  29. necessary. If the directory you specify to place the compiler is not in the DOS
  30. path, a WARNING message will be given. You will be allowed to continue.

  33. Check out the new example programs added with this release...CALC is a full
  34. featured calculator with 18 digit accuracy and an on-screen scrolling tape.
  35. DISKINFO is a neat disk information tool giving you a quick look at all the
  36. drives in your system. SCRNSAVE shows you how to incorporate a screen saver into
  37. one of your applications. This screen saver takes a message and is password
  38. protected. QUOTES show the technique for entering quotes " in a string passed
  39. on a command line to another DOS program.
