  26. Visible::Source provides a storage and cataloging system for code fragments
  27. or listings that have been written in different projects over a period of
  28. time.  Those source items are often copied and pasted to new projects and
  29. files numerous times.

  31. With Visible::Source, a programmer simply takes favorite portions of code 
  32. (or even complete function or procedure listings, up to 32k each) by 
  33. selecting them from the source and pasting them into the repository, which 
  34. also provides ample opportunity to describe and otherwise annotate the 
  35. listings.  There are data entry cells for Description of Entry, Project 
  36. Reference, Source File Name, Language/Compiler, Code Date, Author, Notes,
  37. and the Code Listing window itself.

  39. The collection of listings may then be sorted by choice in any of five 
  40. different ways:  by Description of Entry, Project Reference, Source File 
  41. Name, Language/Compiler, or Code Date.

  43. Code reuse may be effected by reversing the process:  selecting the needed
  44. portion of code from the repository, copying it to the Windows Clipboard
  45. and pasting it to the destination project file.

  47. Complete documentation is provided in both Windows .HLP and .WRI formats.
  48. The unregistered copy is fully-functional as to most of the features and 
  49. components found in the full registered copy; the unregistered copy allows 
  50. the user ample flexibility to satisfactorily and fully evaluate the program.
  51. The data table does have a reasonable limitation on the number of records 
  52. that may be viewed/edited in the unregistered version.  The full 
  53. registration fee is only $19.95.

  56. Program requirements:  80386sx or greater, Windows 3.1 or Windows 95, 2mb 
  57. ram, 1.3mb hard disk space.  At least 640x480 VGA recommended.

  105. A companion product, Visible::Source32 for 32-bit Windows is also available 
  106. from RCCO Research in a 32-bit edition.  It is similar to, but not exactly 
  107. like, the present 16-bit edition entitled Visible::Source for Windows (v3.1 
  108. or greater).  The two editions have different registration fees, due to the 
  109. program sizes and number of disks involved for each.  The respective 
  110. version numbers may also differ and should not be considered relative to 
  111. the other edition.
