  1. What is Crammer?
  2. ================
  3. It is a universal vocabulary tutor.
  4. If you wish to cram two or three or five thousand words
  5. in a new language for you - it is simple! All you need
  6. is patience. Just enter the words you want to cram,
  7. and start your studies.

  9. The program is Shareware. If you like it, contact me
  10. by e-mail address below and send me $20. Registered users
  11. have comprehensive support, the latest upgrades and other
  12. Things to Come, as well as access to huge dictionary
  13. databases in several languages. If you have any comments,

  19. Install the Program
  20. ===================
  21. 1. Place all files from CRAMMER.ZIP in a directory on your hard disk.
  22. 2. Install the Crammer Font.
  23. 3. You can move DLL files to your Windows\System directory,
  24.    replacing existing ones only if the files you are moving are newer.
  25. 4. Your Database files can reside anywhere on your disk,
  26.    where they are not write-protected.

  28. There are two versions of Crammer:
  29. ╖ CRAMMER.EXE is 32-bit version;
  30. ╖ CRAMMR16.EXE is 16-bit version.

  32. Create your Database
  33. ====================
  34. Before you can start to cram, you must have your database
  35. properly organized. The file DUMMY.DBF is an example and
  36. a template for you to create your own databases. To do it,
  37. you must have a program able to edit DBF files.

  39. Start Cramming
  40. ==============
  41. To run the program, you must have Crammer Font installed,
  42. Database properly organised, and Options set for the best
  43. results.
  44. When you get started, the program randomly selects a word
  45. from your Database using Age Restrictions, shows you the word
  46. as well as its part of speech and some additional information
  47. you may supply, and asks you to translate it.
