  2. Cool Edit 1.53 Patch Files

  5. As with any product, we are not immune to the little bugs and glitches.
  6. The files contained in this archive are updates to the Cool Edit 1.53 release
  7. version on http://www.syntrillium.com.

  9. Here's a brief description of the fixes:

  11. COOLTEXT.FLT
  12. *  Was acting as if no disk space was left when trying to save, now it is
  13.       fixed.
  14.  
  15. AU.FLT
  16. *  Certain extra text info was not being parsed properly when reading in AU
  17.       files.
  18.  
  19. COOLACM.FLT
  20. *  Correction made so that files without the required 'fact' chunk can still
  21.       be read properly.
  22.  
  23. COOL.EXE
  24. *  The SMPTE Drop format display on the ruler has been made easier to read
  25.       for extremely large files.
  26. *  Bug was fixed in the Frames time display formats that caused a floating
  27.       point error for very large files.

  29. You must have already downloaded Cool Edit 1.53 before replacing any of these
  30. files.  You can choose to only replace the files that have the new features
  31. you are looking for as well.
