A mouse is recommended. If you do not

- Install Drivers and Utilities for DOS and Windows.
- Configure and Test the sound card.
- Install and Setup CD-ROM Software Drivers.
- Display up-to-date information (readme.txt)
- Install a volume control for Windows.

This Test and Configuration program will:
- Perform 8 bit, 16 bit and FM Music Sound Tests
- Allow you to change volume settings
- Change CD-ROM settings and update system files

Plug and Play, the card will configure automatically.

the User and Windows Directory are correct.

To use your CD-ROM drive, you need a CD-ROM
utility 'MSCDEX.EXE' from Microsoft. After
scanning your Disk, INSTALL found MSCDEX(s)
and listed them below. MSCDEX is DOS version
dependent. Please select the ONE which is
compatible with your DOS version. The best
choice is the ONE that came with your DOS.

To use your CD-ROM Drive, you need the program
MSCDEX.EXE from Microsoft. INSTALL has scanned
your hard disk(s) and did not find one. Besides,
your DOS version is very old. We don't have a
MSCDEX version good for you. INSTALL has inserted
a MSCDEX line with leading 'REM' into your
AUTOEXEC.BAT anyway. If you locate a MSCDEX file
later, please copy it into the SOUNDEXP directory
and remove the REMark from the MSCDEX line.

reconfigure your Sound Card settings when
necessary at a later time.
