  17. 1.     GRANT OF LICENSE.  Microsoft grants to you the right
  18.         to use and to reproduce and distribute all or a 
  19.         portion of the Windows Driver Library  ("Software") 
  20.         provided that (i) the Software is not distributed 
  21.         for profit; (ii) the Software is used only in 
  22.         conjunction with licensed copies of  Microsoft Windows 
  23.         3.xx products; (iii) the Software may NOT be modified; 
  24.         (iv) all copyright notices are maintained on the 
  25.         Software; and (v) the licensee/end user agrees to be
  26.         bound by the terms of this Agreement.

  28. 2.    COPYRIGHT.  The Software is owned by Microsoft or its
  29.         suppliers and is protected by United States copyright
  30.         laws and international treaty provisions. You may not 
  31.         remove the copyright notice from any copy of the 
  32.         Software or any copy of the written materials, if any, 
  33.         accompanying the Software.

  35. 3.    OTHER RESTRICTIONS.  This Microsoft License Agreement
  36.         is your proof of license to exercise the rights granted
  37.         herein and must be retained by you.  You may not rent
  38.         or lease the Software.  You may not reverse engineer, 
  39.         decompile or disassemble the Software.

  41.     NO WARRANTY.  ANY USE BY YOU OF THE SOFTWARE IS AT YOUR
  42.         OWN RISK.  THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED FOR USE ONLY WITH 
  43.         MICROSOFT WINDOWS 3.XX AND RELATED SOFTWARE.  THE 
  44.         SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED FOR USE "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY 
  45.         OF ANY KIND.  TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, 
  46.         MICROSOFT AND ITS SUPPLIERS DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES 
  47.         OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, 
  48.         WITHOUT LIMITATION, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF 
  49.         MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. 
  50.         MICROSOFT IS NOT OBLIGATED TO PROVIDE ANY UPDATES TO 
  51.         THE SOFTWARE.

  53.     NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.  In no event 
  54.         shall Microsoft or its suppliers be liable for any 
  55.         damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, 
  56.         incidental, direct, indirect special and 
  57.         consequential damages, damages for loss of business 
  58.         profits, business interruption, loss of business 
  59.         information, or other pecuniary loss) arising out 
  60.         of the use or inability to use this Microsoft 
  61.         product, even if Microsoft has been advised of the 
  62.         possibility of such damages.  Because some states/
  63.         countries do not allow the exclusion or limitation 
  64.         of liability for consequential or incidental damages,
  65.         the above limitation may not apply to you.

  67.     INDEMNIFICATION BY YOU.  If you distribute the 
  68.         Software in violation of this Agreement, you agree 
  69.         to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Microsoft and 
  70.         its suppliers from and against any claims or lawsuits, 
  71.         including attorney's fees that arise or result from 
  72.         the use or distribution of the Software in violation 
  73.         of this Agreement.

  75. U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS
  76.  
  77. The Software and documentation are provided with RESTRICTED 
  78. RIGHTS.  Use, duplication, or disclosure by the Government 
  79. is subject to restrictions as set forth in subparagraph 
  80. (c)(1)(ii) of The Rights in Technical Data and Computer 
  81. Software clause at DFARS 252.227-7013 or subparagraphs 
  82. (c)(1) and (2) of the Commercial Computer Software - 
  83. Restricted Rights at 48 CFR 52.227-19, as applicable.

  87. If you acquired this product in the United States, this 
  88. Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Washington.
