  2.       SoundBlaster Pro Mixer Package (from SoniX and New Noise)

  4. This SB Pro Mixer Package includes two mixer programs, one for DOS and one
  5. for Windows. We wrote these programs to replace the terrible utilities that
  6. are packed with the SB Pro. Try these programs, we're sure you will keep
  7. using them instead of the Creative Labs mixers.
  8.  
  9. NoiseMixer and Promixer are distributed as freeware. This means that they may 
  10. be copied and distributed freely. You may even use them without registering.
  11.  
  12. If you like these utilities, consider taking a look at the shareware releases
  13. of New Noise and SoniX : NoiseMaster and S-Edit Pro. Below you find short
  14. descriptions of these programs.

  16.                     NoiseMaster 1.0 from New Noise
  17.  
  18. NoiseMaster is a shareware sample-editor for Windows. It supports the
  19. MS-Windows Wave (.WAV) and the Creative Labs Voice (.VOC) sample formats. 
  20. NoiseMaster can handle 16 bit samples, although only in WAV-format. 
  21. Because NoiseMaster uses the Windows 3.1 MultiMedia functions it will work on
  22. all soundcards, that is, if you have installed the windows drivers for your
  23. card. If you have installed the speaker-driver it will even play samples
  24. through your PC-speaker. This evaluation version provides the standard cut,
  25. copy and paste functions for editing your samples as well as the possibility
  26. to reverse, mute or fade a selected sample part. Conversion between stereo /
  27. mono samples and 8 / 16 bits samples is also possible. The sample-rate
  28. scrollbar lets you play your samples at different speeds. Using NoiseMaster
  29. is quick and easy because the most important functions can be executed by
  30. pressing buttons, instead of using the pull-down menus.
  31. The registered version also includes filters (high-pass, low-pass, band-pass),
  32. more effects (echo, reverse echo).

  44. Sedit is a VOC, WAV, IFF and MOD sample editor for DOS, with a windows-like
  45. user interface. Sedit features a lot of interesting effects and edit
  46. functions like : Flanger, High and low pass filters, a design option for
  47. designing your own sounds, a popup synthesizer to play tunes with the sample
  48. loaded - and more.
