********************************
* Mixer, the sound studio for *
* your Sound Blaster PRO *
********************************
-=- Copyright Notice
This program is Copyright 1992 Scott Seligman. I grant you free
use for one month. Thereafter if you still use this program you
must pay for it. Support shareware by registering..
-=- What is this program?
This program is a mixing studio. The Sound Blaster PRO has the
ability to control the volume of each channel via software, and
this is a software package that can do that.
-=- Usage...
Simply run the program, and using the left and right arrow keys
select the channel that you want to change (with numlock off). The
two bars in each box represent the left and right channels,
respectively. Use the up and down arrow keys to change the volume,
when the bar gets all the way to the top that channel is at max
volume. Once you are done, and have found the volumes that you
like, hit the escape key to exit (please note that the settings are
kept until you change them with another utility, or you cold boot).
-=-Some notes
1. This program right now can only access the mixing chip if the
Sound Blaster PRO is at Port 220 (factory setting). If I see that
people use this program I will put support for other channels in
it.
2. You may notice that sometimes your settings aren't precisely
where you left them (i.e. if you put the channel at the bottom, the
next time you use Mixer, it'll be one up), this is due to the way
the mixing chip works, not a bug in the program.
3. Please register!
-=-How to register
Just send in ten dollars (or more) with your name, and any
comments that you may have. If I write another version I'll include
it if you send in fifteen bucks. Thirty bucks will enable you to
get the source code (written in the amazing language of Quick
BASIC, with my notes on accessing the Sound Blaster PRO's mixing
chip). The Address to send registration fees in is:

1020 Druid Drive
