Description: Win42 and Dominoes / Internet-Ready
Keywords: WINDOWS GAMES DOMINOES 42 WINSOCK NETWORK INTERNET
Version 2.11 of Win42 and Dominoes for Winodows now lets you
play other people over the internet! Or you can simply play
against the built-in simulated players.
Two great dominoes games in one package - Dominoes for Windows
and Win42. For Windows 3.1, Windows 95, or Windows NT.
Dominoes for Windows Version 2.11:
Plays the classic game of single-spinner dominoes, where you line
up the dominoes, and try to make the ends add up to a multiple of
five. Features an easy to use drag-n-drop interface, with all the
dominoes nicely drawn and visible at all times. Play against
either one, two, or three opponents. Change the colors and the
sizes of the tiles to suit your taste. Registered users also get
to see statistics of how well you are doing. The help file is
context-sensitive, and contains strategy tips as well as the basic
rules. Locate other people who want to play over the internet by
going to the Dominoes Chat Room at
http://members.aol.com/FREEWHL44/domchat.html .
The latest version fixes some minor bugs in the network play.
Win42 Version 2.11:
Plays the bidding-type game of "42", similar to spades or pinochle,
except with dominoes. The computer plays three of the four positions,
and you play the fourth. Besides being fun, it can be used to teach
someone how to play, as suggested moves with explanations can be
viewed. You can customize the look of the tiles by changing their
size and colors, as well as choosing (or creating) images for the
back sides. Full-featured play has most of the rule variations,
including choices of forced dealer bid and whether/when to allow
Nel-O play. WIth a sound driver, you can hear comments from the
players. Registered users also can replay hands, see statistics
of how well you are making the different bids, save and open games,
and save color changes. The help file is context-sensitive, and
contains strategy tips as well as the basic rules. Locate other
people who want to play over the internet by going to the Win42
Chat Room at http://members.aol.com/FREEWHL44/42chat.html .
The latest version fixes some minor bugs in the network play, and
adds Plunge options.
Includes the two games, help files, sound files, and files for
domino graphics. If you don't already have VBRUN300.DLL, get it
separately.
Graphics and sound files were custom-created for these games.
Shareware fee - $15 for each game, or both for $25. Please post this
package to as many places as possible, but please include the
complete package.
